Hangeul is the Korean Alphabet. It is similar to the English Alphabet, and each letter represents a different sound. Unlike the English Alphabet, in Korean Alphabet each written character represents a syllable.
Hangeul(the Korean alphabet) consists of forty letters. Twenty-one of these represent vowels and nineteen represent consonants
The vowels are made by combining a shape '•' that resembles a round shape in the sky, a shape that resemblesa a flat shape on the ground 'ㅡ', and a shape 'ㅣ' that resembles a human standing. For example, ㅏ is a combination of ㅣand •.
